It’s a real privilege to be able get know my patients. I am excited and proud of their amazing successes in getting themselves well and watching the incredible changes take place that they didn’t think were possible. Sometimes it’s simple and easy, and sometimes it takes some hard work.

The following are some cases to share with you for you to understand how naturopathic medicine works and how successful it it. I have to protect the confidentiality of my patients however, so the details of the cases are kept very sparse.
Cases
Case 1: 6yo child with asthma and eczema
This patient suffered from asthma, frequent colds, and severely itchy and raw eczema on the wrists and backs of the legs and knees. After identifying root cause, addressing food allergies, gut flora disturbance, immune system hypersensitivity, mild adrenal deficiency and 6 months of hard work with nutrition and supplements, the eczema resolved and inhaler use dropped to very occasional use salbutamol, with the steroid being unnecessary.
Case 2: Severe Acne
Female, late 20′s severe facial acne. Given antibiotics for 6 months. Suffered stomach pain, bloating, indigestion, fungal issues due to significantly disturbed gut flora resulting. Acne returned after discontinuation. Patient prescribed accutane. Caused facial pain, skin and lip peeling and cracking. This medication is very liver toxic, liver enzymes must be monitored. Patient also prescribed birth control pill to manage the acne, causing worsened pms, emotional lability. She decided to go off the above. Proper diagnosis of root cause of the acne, a change in diet, nutrient support, liver and elimination support, and support with stress management resulted in complete resolution. Added benefit: improvement to overall level of health as well.
Case 3: Metastatic Cancer
Through detoxing, organ support, immune support, intervenous high dose vitamin C, her own emotional work, in combination with conventional hormone therapy, 67 yo patient with stage 4 breast cancer experiences continued resolution of metastatic cancer. Incredible.
Case 4: Colon Dysplasia (pre cancerous cells) and Chronic inflammation, history of Colitits
This patient’s prognosis was to take corticosteroid medication while awaiting colostomy. Fortunately, we had a few months before the surgery was scheduled to work on it. Follow up colonoscopic exams showed continued improvement; the surgery was pushed back. Through detoxing, finding out what the chronic colonic irritation was caused by (food sensitivities, pathogenic gut bacteria, compounded by stress), using nutrients and herbs to effectively repair the lining of the colon and powerful nutrients to encourage proper cell growth and eliminate DNA damage, she is now completely cured. Her GI specialist confirmed that she is his first patient that has not had to have surgery, due to the healing and reparative work we did.
Case 5: Chronic Fatigue
Very busy professional female, off work since 6 months with chronic fatigue syndrome post mononucleosis infection. 6 IV’s later with high dose vitamin C, glutathione, b vitamins and minerals and she returned to work. 12 IV’s total and she was returned to her normal self.
Case 6: Heartburn since 14 years

Nutritional deficiencies, food sensitivities, mild hormonal imbalance, mild adrenal and thyroid deficiency ascertained, stress and anxiety. All of the above were treated. Patient successfully conceived and delivered health baby.
